Analog Devices Inc. asked cozybit to create an open source driver for the Marvell 88w8686 embedded WiFi module with a GSPI interface for use with their series of Blackfin-based reference designs running ucLinux.
The GSPI interface driver for the core Libertas driver was merged into Linux kernel 2.6.30 and is available for use on embedded platforms.
